My Senior Collection, Made With Love, is comprised of ten design iterations, and four physical garments. This collection was inspired by taking thematic elements and showing them literally through designs. My collection takes the theme of love and executes it in a playful, lighthearted fashion. Through phrases such as "I Love You," embroidered hearts, and patchwork to signify a "patched up" heart, I used several different processes to construct my designs. As always, this collection was Made With Love. From me, for you.

This collection is made especially for its wearers. The target market is for women 18-40+. I aimed to create a collection that would appeal to a wide audience of women and connect on a personal level.
Collection Designs

Women’s dark blue denim skirt set. There is a waistband with a 10-inch side zipper on the skirt. The skirt has 1 layer of crinoline net and will be lined with a layer of 100% cotton with a top stitch at the bottom hem. The phrase “I Love You” is bleached on the skirt and has top stitched hearts.
The top is reversible with top stitching around the neck, armscye, and shoulders and a keyhole-esque button closure at the back.

Dress with a dark blue denim heart-shaped bodice and princess seams. There is a 20-inch invisible zipper on the back bodice and a white pearl cotton top stitch. The top bodice with straps and the skirt is a white denim and the skirt has 1 layer of crinoline net and 1 layer of lining. The bodice has white top-stitched hearts and the skirt has dark blue top-stitched hearts.

Boxy top with squared bustline and short sleeves. The back bodice is closed with a button. This top is fully lined and done in white denim.
The bottoms are asymmetrical. The front is shorts and the back is tails/pants. There are darts on both the front and back of the pants. An invisible zipper closure and a trouser hook and eye are used on the waistband. Patchworked fabric is the outside layer, and the pants are lined with white denim. The waistband is done in white denim.

Lined kimono featuring a zero-waste pattern design and scrap patchwork fabric. This kimono is fully lined with dark blue denim.
Denim mini dress with selvage straps. There are princess seams, a sweetheart neckline, and a low v-back. An invisible zipper is used on the left side seam and hook-and-eye is placed above it. This dress is fully lined with white cotton, dark blue denim neckline, and hem facings.
