OVERVIEW
In the Summer of 2023, I attended a Parsons School of Design summer intensive in New York. I took Fashion Design: Visual Communication taught by Gene Lakin, a professor at both Parson School of Design and Pratt Institue in New York City. Instructor Vasilija Zivanic also instructed us part-time on expanding our Adboe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop skills. This course aimed to develop a 12-15 look collection and thoroughly explore the designs through a process book using both digital and analog mediums.
The Process: Mind
Phase 1 of exploration is the "mind" of our collection. This includes our first capsule collection
The Process: Body
Phase 2 of our process is the "body" of our collection. This includes our second capsule collection.
The Process: Spirit
Phase 3 of our process is the "spirit" of our collection. This includes our third capsule collection.
Scholarship
My process included scholarship, which allowed me to further explore key elements of my collection.

Takeaways
This collection was thoughtfully created over 3 intensive weeks. I poured my heart and creativity into designs that I felt portrayed joy and the spirit of being young at heart. This collection was truly a passion project and a key baseline for my senior collection in Spring 2024.
